Representing the seller of Lakefront property is a very important job. First, I must market the seller's property correctly to get the most activity possible, most importantly I must get the most money I can for my seller. Likewise, when I am representing the buyer, I must get the best deal that I possible can through negotiations, but in both positions, I must be professional and educated with the most up-to-date Real Estate Disclosure and Contractual Law. Before you decide on your agent make sure they are up to the job! Recently I represented the buyer on a Lake and saved the buyer $126,150.00 on a lakefront RV park. More recently I represented a buyer on Lake Osoyoos and saved the buyer $69,000.00 in both cases the buyers were willing to pay full asking price, but I wouldn’t let them. On the other side of the coin, my seller’s rarely get less than we are asking, we get offers, but we negotiate back up to the list prices almost 100% of the time!
